Power Pages: Set Focus on Today’s Date in DateTimePicker Control

Problem Statement

By default, the datetime picker control in Power Pages doesn’t highlight today’s date.

Solution

You can use showTodayButton property of the DateTimePicker control in JavaScript to highlight today’s date.

$('#arp_startdate').next().data("DateTimePicker").showTodayButton(true);

Demo

For demonstration, I have used the above code in the Start Date field on my Power Pages site. And, it shows the output as shown in the figure below.
