November 2023 update of Power Automate for desktop

We are happy to announce that the November 2023 update of Power Automate for desktop (version 2.38) has been released! You can download the latest release here.

Key features

We are thrilled to announce the introduction of Copilot to the world of Power Automate for desktop! After cloud flows and process mining, its capabilities now extend to desktop automation as well, offering a seamless fusion of AI-driven assistance and flow automation.

Guidance and information with Copilot is now available (in preview)

Copilot’s generative answers are now available in preview in the console and the designer, so that you can get answers related to using Power Automate for desktop and creating desktop flows.

Engage Copilot, using any predefined prompt or creating a custom one, and get your questions answered in the easiest way possible!

Scripts can now be generated using Copilot (in preview)

Natural Language to script is now available in preview for the following scripting actions:

  • Run DOS command
  • Run VBScript
  • Run JavaScript
  • Run PowerShell script
  • Run Python script

…so that you can generate the script you need by describing it. Whether an experienced developer or a business user, Copilot can now save you time and create complex and sophisticated scripts based on your prompt.

New actions for SAP GUI have now been introduced

New dedicated actions for the SAP GUI application are now available out of the box, allowing users to login and perform certain activities therein.
