Dear valued Microsoft customer – On February 20, 2020, we announced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations, a new application that unifies capabilities from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation (PSA), Microsoft Project (Project for the web), including Project Management and Accounting (PMA), and expense management from Dynamics 365 Finance into an integrated offering.
Dynamics 365 Project Operations connects sales, resource management, project management, and accounting teams to provide the visibility, agility, and collaboration needed to help organizations deliver on-budget and on-time.
Our commitment to you
As Dynamics 365 Project Operations launches on October 1, 2020, we will make your transition as smooth as possible for your organization.
As a current user of PSA, PMA and/or expense management capabilities, we know you are invested in Microsoft products and technologies. Our goal with Project Operations is to extend the value of your investments further. As a result, your eligible user licenses will automatically be upgraded to Project Operations at no additional cost starting on April 1, 2021.
Before April 1, 2021, you can continue to use your current PSA and/or PMA licenses. As of April 1, 2021, the new Project Operations capabilities will be available when your organization is ready to use it. To determine if you have eligible licenses to upgrade, please refer to the announcement in your Microsoft 365 Admin Message Center on or after October 1, 2020.
We are also working closely with our Field and Partners to train them to assist you when you are ready to use your Project Operations application.
