This study led Team Inogic– Maplytics to pursue the idea of having a ‘Live QnA Session’ for all of its existing users. Being present in real-time makes the process of asking queries faster than emailing them and awaiting a revert. Certain complex technical issues that require replicating the client environment at the Team’s end do take time. However, certain smaller problems should be easily resolvable in Live sessions!
On the 24th of Jan 2024, Team Maplytics conducted its first such session with invites across the user groups. Users showed good responses by registering beforehand and being present in large numbers. Certain client organizations got multiple users working in different teams to witness the live conference. The sessions were conducted in two time zones, 11 AM CET & 11 AM EST, to cater to users across the globe. Attendance and participation were high in both time zones.
The session was headed by the product experts and kicked off with a product introduction. This was followed by covering the upgrades done to Maplytics in 2023. The demo for the same was presented using case studies and live examples.
Topics covered in the engaging and fun demo included –
• PCF Control- enhanced configuration, Drive Time Zone, Lasso Tool, Smart Route, and more
• Mobile Application – improved dashboard, proximity search, navigation, etc. in the mobile app
• Auto Scheduling- advanced and recursive scheduling based on frequency details
& a lot more
Post the 20-minute demo, the platform was open for user questions. Queries were put forth through chat and answered by the experts. Multiple users asked multiple questions making it an almost one-on-one session! Certain questions that needed in-depth technical analysis were taken up offline post the session. There were questions about licensing, integration with other platforms, license renewals and pricing, in-depth application of the features, specific feature usage, and a lot more!
Both the sessions were highly interactive and chatty. The presenter received rave compliments for a well-put demo. There were many queries post-session for additional or extended licenses, more licenses for Territory Management and Auto Scheduling, etc.
Overall, Maplytics users were happy about the interaction and keen for more regular such sessions. The product team seemed happy interacting virtually with its users whom they have been helping for years!
Our biggest takeaway from the entire event was the importance of re-establishing good relationships with the people we work with. The conference was personal so, was a chance for the clients to open up and the team to understand them more. In the future, the clients wouldn’t hesitate to ask even the silliest of the doubts having interacted up close with the team. Likewise, the Team too would be more open to suggestions, complaints, queries, etc. knowing they are coming from the right place.
