Power Community

March Featured User Group Leader!

We are pleased to announce that @AhmedSalih  is this month’s Featured Leader!

Originally from Sudan and living in Colorado, Ahmed is a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, and a PowerApps Community Forums Super User.

After fourteen years of experience in .Net software development, Ahmed switched his career to Microsoft Power Platform solutions development three years ago and hasn’t looked back. Alongside being a highly active member in the Community forums, Ahmed also creates weekly blogs and YouTube videos that cover Canvas PowerApps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, alongside many other Power Platform Components.

The father of four said:

“Our community is like nothing I have seen before, and I am a pro .Net developer who graduated in 2005. I’ve always kept working hard and contributing, even when events had small turnouts. Starting with only three members, our first virtual session was attended by just seven people, and four of those were speakers! Now our recent Global Power Platform Bootcamp session was attended by EIGHTY-FIVE people, with another session planned at the end of the month with over forty people registered so far. Solving issues and sharing knowledge within a team is priceless. Our technology is evolving so fast and alone we can’t keep up to date. Together, we are better.”
