Hello Gloridel. The previous version 2020.1.1 when used with SQL Server 2019 would set the database compatibility level to 2016. When we tried RC2, it did not automatically update the compatibility mode (for the SQL Server 2019 databases) to 2019. Do you know if Azure DevOps Server 2022 is (or will) support full native database modes for SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2022?

Bruce,
Azure DevOps Server 2022 RTW will support SQL Server 2022. The database compatibility level will stay at 130 (SQL Server 2016) in the RTW release, but we are planning to increase compatibility level in the upcoming releases.
Thanks,
–Vladimir
