We are happy to announce that the August 2023 update of Power Automate for desktop (version 2.35) has been released! You can download the latest release here.
New features and updates have been added, as described below.
A new logging action is now available
The premium action Log message has been introduced under the new Logging group of actions, allowing users to log their own custom text messages with a specified log level in the flow run logs.
A new setting to disable uploading error screenshots has been introduced
A new setting is now available in the properties of each flow in the console, allowing users to disable the default behavior of adding a screenshot to the flow run action logs in the portal, in case of an error. This feature is only available if v2 schema is enabled.
Editing primitive variable values during debugging is now supported
The values of Text, Numeric and Boolean variables can now be edited during debugging through the variable value window, when the flow is paused, so that users can perform tests and debug using their own values for these variable types.
Referencing Excel cells by name is now available in the respective Excel actions
The following Excel actions:
- Read from Excel worksheet
- Select cells in Excel worksheet
- Activate cell in Excel worksheet
- Write to Excel worksheet
…will now have the additional ability to reference Excel cells by name.
